Allisha Gray hace historia ganando los concurso de triples y habilidades en el All-Star

Allisha Gray made history in the WNBA on Friday by becoming the first player to win both the three-point contest and skills challenge in the same All-Star event.

The Atlanta Dream player had a memorable night at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, USA. She started by winning the skills challenge, defeating Sophie Cunningham from the Phoenix Mercury in the final. Gray didn’t settle for just that trophy and went on to defeat Jonquel Jones from the New York Liberty in the three-point contest final.

Fans were disappointed to not see Caitlin Clark from the Indiana Fever and Sabrina Ionescu from the New York Liberty in the contest, as they were perhaps the most anticipated participants. However, both players decided not to take part in the three-point competition.

On Saturday, the WNBA All-Star game will take place, featuring the US national team that will compete in the 2024 Paris Olympics against a team composed of the league’s top players who will not be participating in the Olympic event.
